POLICIES

APPOINTMENTS
We recommend booking your treatments well in advance, particularly for weekend appointments. You will receive a reminder email/text and phone call two days prior to your service as confirmation.

All appointments require a $50 dollar non-refundable deposit upon booking. Deposits are charged immediately and the remaining balance will be charged on the appointment day. As a courtesy to our clients and staff, it is company policy for all clients to give 24 hours notice of cancellation or rescheduling, guests are allowed up to one rescheduling window. Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of your $50 dollar deposit. Appointments booked with invalid credit card information will be automatically canceled without notice.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
SYMPTOMS? REMAIN HOME

Staff and Guests must notify Joire’s Spa & Studio and stay home if they develop symptoms or have been exposed to someone who does.

If you or someone you know has exhibited flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, chills, or the recent loss of taste or smell, please notify Joire’s Spa & Studio immediately and do not come into the office.

NO GUESTS
Clients should arrive to appointments alone unless a guardian or caretaker is absolutely required. If so, only one (1) masked adult may accompany the client. Until the situation stabilizes, we must limit the number of people in the Spa, as per NYS guidelines.

If you are coming with a chaperone or caretaker, please advise Joire’s Spa & Studio ahead of time so we can account for an extra person during that time and make sure there is ample space for social distancing.

Guests are not allowed to bring their children to the Spa under any circumstances.

ARRIVAL
Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible.

If you arrive early, unless we have an open treatment room, we may ask you to wait outside of the Spa until we call you. We realize this may be inconvenient however we are adopting these measures with safety in mind and to make sure to provide ample social distancing.

MASKS
Guests must wear a mask to enter Joire’s Spa & Studio. We cannot allow entrance to someone who refuses to wear a mask.

HAND HYGIENE
As soon as you enter Joire’s Spa & Studio, please use our hand sanitizer, we have several stationed throughout the space. This will help in preventing cross-contamination.

TEMPERATURE CHECK
Guests' temperatures will be taken via forehead non-contact thermometers upon arrival to the Spa. We cannot allow entrance to someone who refuses to have their temperature taken.

NO MAGAZINES
For the time being, we will have no magazines to reduce person-to-person contact and cross-contamination, so please bring your own reading materials.

PAYMENTS & GRATUITY
Purchases and gratuity may be processed hands-free via our software, alternatively, the staff can be directly reached via their personal Venmo bar codes. CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least twenty-four hours before your appointment to avoid being charged for the service in full.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates to Joire’s Spa & Studio can be purchased online, in person, or email for a specific spa treatment or in any dollar denomination. Gift certificates can be mailed anywhere in the U.S. at no additional cost.

GRATUITY
Gratuities are accepted via Credit Card or VENMO.

HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
When making an appointment, please let us know if you are pregnant or have any health concerns, such as high blood pressure, heart conditions, or allergies. We will tailor your treatment accordingly.

MOBILE PHONES/ELECTRONIC DEVICES/JEWELRY
During all services and treatments, please keep cell phones on vibrate. For Joire’s sauna pod remove all jewelry and electronic devices prior to entering the sauna pod. If you expect to receive any communications whilst in treatment, please advise a spa concierge and they will be received on your behalf.

REFUNDS
We will be happy to fully refund you on most packages from the spa within 30 days of your purchase. After 30 days we are unable to give any refunds, however, you may transfer your package to any family member or friend at your request. All purchased packages have no expiration date and can be used at any time. If you have started using your package and request a refund due to unforeseen circumstances, you may only receive a refund based on the original service price.

Refunds for services rendered are at the discretion of management. No Refunds given for proper services rendered. No returns for opened products. Only store credit will be given for any unused visits or sessions. Requests for refunds are handled via email at manager@joiresspastudio.com.

SPA ATTIRE
As part of the Joire's experience, you will be provided with a robe and turban. We recommend that you bring a swimsuit for use of the sauna pod, however, if you have forgotten yours, wraps are available. We recommend removing all undergarments prior to body treatments and massages or undressing to your comfort level.
